Charles Trask Timeline and Summary

Charles is born to Alice, the second wife of Cyrus Trask, a little more than a year after Adam.
Charles is the more athletic brother, but Cyrus starts having more father-son talks with Adam. Grr.
After Cyrus tells Adam that he's going into the army and not Charles, Charles takes the liberty of beating Adam up and then coming back to kill him. But he doesn't.
After Adam joins the cavalry and Cyrus moves to Washington, Charles stays on the farm and farms it to death.
At some point, Charles gets a scar on his forehead while pulling up rocks. Whoops.
Adam wires Charles asking for a hundred dollars.
After Adam comes home, Charles tells him how disillusioned he is with their father, now that the whole stolen-fortune thing is out in the open.
When Cathy shows up on their doorstep, Charles is dead-set against keeping her at the house—he doesn't trust her, and tells her so.
After Cathy marries Adam, she has sex with Charles.
Charles dies while Adam is in California. He leaves his assets to Adam and his wife.
