Dracula is an action-packed story about vampires and how to kill them without being bitten. Because it's told from multiple points of view through a collection of diary entries, letters, and notes, there's not a lot of dead space (no pun intended). The story moves along at a pretty good clip, so there's never time to be bored. The language is occasionally difficult just because it was written over a century ago, and there are some obscure historical and cultural references that might trip up the unwary modern reader, but that's where Shmoop can help.
