John Isidore Timeline & Summary

Isidore is getting ready for work when he hears a TV somewhere in his apartment building.
He races downstairs to give a cube of margarine to his first neighbor in forever.
In the apartment, he meets Pris Stratton, perhaps the only person less prepared for a roomie than he is.
At work, he accidently causes the death of a cat.
But it's all good; he works it out with the owner, and she agrees to replace it with an electric one.
Elated that he conquered his phone phobia, Isidore heads to the apartment with a celebratory dinner for Pris and him.
During dinner, Pris tells him about how awful the space colonies are.
Roy and Irmgard Baty crash the party and make themselves at home in the building.
He learns that they're androids, but he doesn't care about that. Friendsies!
During the Buster Friendly expose, Isidore finds a spider and goes show-and-tell with the androids.
Pris begins to cut off the spider's legs, and Isidore panics himself into a hallucination.
He meets Wilbur Mercer, who hands him the spider with restored legs.
Rick arrives, and the androids push Isidore out of the apartment to fend him off.
Isidore takes the time to release the spider and meets Rick. He refuses to help the bounty hunter.
After Rick retires the androids, Isidore decides he wants to move closer to other people.
