Brain Snacks: Tasty Tidbits of Knowledge
Sylvia Plath's first meeting with her husband, fellow poet Ted Hughes, was very dramatic. She met him while on a Fulbright Scholarship at Cambridge University, in England. She walked up to him, introduced herself and recited his own poems to him. They instantly connected and eventually made out, with Plath biting him on the cheek until he bled. (Source)
