Zachry Bailey Timeline & Summary

In a post-apocalyptic future, a tribesman named Zachry Bailey watches his father get slaughtered by Kona warriors. Zachry believes he is fated to be cursed.
When a Prescient woman named Meronym stays with Zachry's family (kind of like a foreign exchange student, but without the exchange), Zachry believes she is up to no good and tries to prove her to be a traitor.
Zachry's sister almost dies from a poisonous animal sting, but Meronym saves her. Zachry agrees to help Meronym from then on out.
Zachry and Meronym hike to the top of Mauna Kea so Meronym can analyze the observatories there.
On the way down, Zachry has the opportunity to kill Meronym, but due to a vision he received from Sonmi, he does not.
On Market Day, Kona warriors attack, kill most of Zachry's tribe, and take Zachry into slavery.
Meronym rescues Zachry. Together, they learn that all the Prescients are missing, presumed dead, and they can only live in safety on Maui.
They ride through Kona territory and escape the Big I.
When Zachry's story ends, his children tell us that he left them a little something—an orison. It's an egg that plays a video—a video of Sonmi-451.
