Character Role Analysis

F. Alexander

The two Alexes are completely different. Our protagonist is an anti-intellectual, believes in personal liberty, and espouses the philosophical view that man is born evil. F. Alexander, on the other hand, is a bookworm type, believes in the idea of liberty (though at the expense of individuals), and holds the noble view that people are born good only to be corrupted by the modern age.
