Poppy isn't with Lina constantly, but as Lina starts to feel more grown-up and make more decisions, she realizes that she needs to factor in Poppy. After all, when Granny dies, Poppy is her sole remaining family member, and Lina (being the older sibling and all), is responsible for the young girl.
