The last big dispute between these two centered on Jung's claim that Freud treated his followers like his patients. Jung felt like he was constantly under close scrutiny from Big Papa, the older Freud. Freud didn't mind airing out his, or anyone else's, dirty laundry in public. He thought it essential that therapists were aware of their own neuroses. So if you wanted to keep something a secret, you didn't tell Sigmund. Freud's loose lips sank many friendships. Including his friendship with Jung.
