Exactly how steamy is this story?

While there are some pretty direct references to sex in the novel, this one gets a PG-13 because these scenes are never presented in a shocking or controversial manner. In fact, the descriptions of sex are so simple and clinical that its hard to think of anyone that would have a hard time being offended by their content… at least anyone living on this side of 1952.
