- It's a week until Lena's birthday, and she and Ethan still haven't figured out how to save her. Lena is losing hope.
- Ethan wakes up from a particularly disturbing nightmare and finds Macon Ravenwood at the foot of his bed. That's not creepy or anything…
- "Either you're some kind of vampire or some kind of perv, or both. Which is it?" (2.04.36). Ethan demands to know what is going on.

- Long story short: Macon's an Incubus and he's been feeding on Ethan's dreams. That's why Ethan can't remember all of them.
- Amma bursts in. She's furious that Macon is in her house without her permission. After a dramatic conversation, Macon does an equally dramatic twirl and disappears.
