Shakespeare Words

Shakespearean, not stirred.

If Shakespeare wrote it, we've Shmooped it.

Eventful

Invented in Love's Labour's Lost

Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,

It doesn't take a rocket scientist (or, um, genius playwright) to see that eventful = event + full, but here's something you might not know: after Shakespeare used the word just once, there was no record of it until almost 200 years later. It's like it just disappeared without a trace.
