Shakespeare Words

Shakespearean, not stirred.

If Shakespeare wrote it, we've Shmooped it.

Bedazzled

Invented in The Taming of the Shrew

Pardon, old father, my mistaking eyes
That have been so bedazzled with the sun

We are not kidding even a little. Shakespeare invented the word bedazzled.

We're pretty sure he also invented the BeDazzler, but for some reason, no one wants to give him any credit.

P.S. The word means exactly what you'd expect: shiny and bright.
