Peace Dividend

Categories: Managed Funds

When peace has broken out around the world, investors spend more on stuff that doesn't actively kill people. There is more hope, less fear. The market, instead of trading at 18x earnings, then trades at, say, 20 times. It's not really a dividend as in a cash dividend-style, Old School dividend. It's a "dividend" in the form of stocks trading at a higher multiple.
