Oil Field

Categories: Accounting

Think: a soccer field. Only instead of soccer or futbol, there's oil.

That's it. It's a big fat field. Maybe 1,000 acres by 2,000 acres. And 300 feet below its surface? Yeah: 18,000 dead dinosaurs, trees, old gloopy stuff that was compressed for a hundred million years or more. And now it's oil, black gold, Texas T.

So we go there, and those infinite red bird feeder things suck out a dozen or two gallons every drink, and we burn it in our cars and kill polar bears next winter. Ah, the life.
