Group Of 30 (G30)

Categories: Econ, International

Like the Avengers, only...for economics.

The Group of 30, or G30 (as they have printed on the chests of their supersuits), consists of thirty top economists and executives from financial organizations and central banks. They hold conferences to discuss financial issues, wrestle with economic conundrums, and fight Thanos in the cold expanse of outer space.

The group was first set up in 1978 under the auspices of the Rockefeller Foundation. These days, it meets twice a year in Washington DC to discuss pressing economic matters.
