Digital Marketing

Yeah, it's called spam. More or less. It's the use of digital channels to get the word out on that new hair growth formula, the new male enhancement drug, or the new adult diapers. It's "digital" because, well, some town crier isn't screaming about it in the town square to get that word out. Instead, it comes via the internet, social media, mobile apps, etc., to reach potential customers.

The system is highly interactive, and requires an entirely new approach than old-fashioned marketing techniques. Savvy, snooping marketers analyze data from multiple channels, and then shout...digitally...hoping to grab difficult-to-attract consumers' attention.
