Kid: So, he’s a forensic accountant, meaning that he investigates financial statements to make sure there’s no “hanky panky” going on with the company’s money. He also goes to court to testify on issues tied to accounting. To get this rating, he has to be really good at knowing a lot about accounting, financial operations, tax matters, and anything related to the bankruptcy and insolvency of a company. To get his designation, he had to pass a three-part exam over three years. He also needed five years of financial experience, 4,000 hours of specialized experience in distressed finance, and three confidential references.
